Good afternoon to you.
My name is Lee Beatty and I am just writing to thank you for a GREAT time this past Saturday. My wife and I, along with two friends from the church, came to visit the Bissell Mansion and we had a blast! That play was so much fun with the interactions of the audience were hysterical. It was an honor to meet Missouri Smith and his lovely companion whose name escapes me (please forgive me). But, they were so funny and so tolerant of us hammy but inexperienced participants.
The meal was fine, the atmosphere memorable and all in all, we will be back again and again and again.
Thank all of you for giving us a Saturday to remember for years to come. My hats off to all of you, the waiters and waitresses, the greeters, the cooks, the players and everyone that I may have missed.
Have a glorious day, a beautiful Christmas and a Happy, Happy New Year.

What a place? I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the dinner and the entertainment. Gracious Mary and oh so handsome George. He made my heart flutter. Wish I would've had more interaction (if you know what I mean). Come up and see me sometime. Love and kisses, Mae East

Howdy,
It was exceptional! The food was tasty, the service and atmosphere was wonderful and the actors are ready for Broadway or Hollywood! In fact, I'd love to have a copy of the script. Please make to thank your entire staff for a great evening.
Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

We enjoyed the evening at your restaurant.
The food was good, and the entertainment was fun. The two actors were great.
Thank you again.

Great fun, food, 'theatre'! - Review of Bissell Mansion Restaurant
We went with another couple to celebrate an anniversary. It had been a while since we had been there so we weren't sure what play to expect this time. I might add the previous visit was for a Christmas gathering.
Our host/hostess were great, the wait staff - right on cue, awesome! The appetizers were very good, the main meal choice was great! I had the mild white fish with almond cream sauce. It was delectable! The other in our group also indicated their food choices were excellent as well - one had chicken and the other steak. The vegetables were a little overcooked and the salad your basic lettuce salad, for dessert we were served a portion of chocolate mousse that was the perfect item to top off a lovely evening!
Yes, as another reviewer mentioned, it is $50 per person, but this includes all except alcoholic beverages. I challenge you to find another place that you can have a lovely dinner and great theater for $50. We will go again.

Your actors were superb. They amazed all of us and keep the group laughing and most of all they created a competitive atmosphere once things started. Everyone told me that was the best show they had ever been in. We all enjoyed the evening and it is one we want forget, Thanks to John & Brenda. The script was great and everything went smoothly. You would have thought we had practiced for weeks. This was a great selection on my part and it means a lot to have my comrades come to me and tell me what a wonderful time they had.
Our Sincere Thanks

Dear Barb,
We had a wonderful time being members of your play! I really thought the Queen of Hearts and the Joker killed Humpty as they "split the deck " with the ax and accidentally hit Humpty. Oh, well, those darn chipmunks!
Great fun! Wonderful dinner!

On behalf of the Stanley-Boyd High School Choral and Band students, directors, and parents/chaperons/booster club members, I would like to personally THANK-YOU for the WONDERFUL evening we shared with you on Friday, April 16th.
Although the food was AMAZING and enjoyed by everyone, the "Murder Mystery" was definitely the HIGHLIGHT for the students! The Wolf and Wicked Witch that we had the pleasure to work with were AWESOME and the students in my group had such a WONDERFUL time playing the roles and various characters that they were still talking about it on the bus ride home from St. Louis yesterday!
THANK-YOU again for the memorable evening!
Best regards,
Lisa Steinmetz
